Alessio Araujo

Alessio Araujo is a native New Yorker born and raised in The Bronx.  As a kid he was very shy and really didn't crave the spotlight (Needless to say that has changed dramatically lol).  He is one of 13 brothers and sisters which gives him such an awesome support system, and role models from his mother who is a single parent raising her kids while going back to school and getting her Masters degree.  To all his brothers and sisters who are all acheiving great things. 

 

As a kid Alessio's earliest passions were anything to do with dinosaurs, drawing and videogames (he has owned every system pretty much and still owns a working Colecovision).  His passion for acting started when he watched "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and one day will get to thank Will Smith in person.  His first time really gracing the stage was in High School where he performed in a few musicals staring in "Guys and Dolls" and "Godspell".  He continued on to college still working on his craft by taking acting classes when ever he could.  He has taken workshops with Casting Directors and classes with Anthony Abeson and Peter Mattaliano.
